OHC places a renewed focus on making Ohio’s cultural and natural heritage more visible and accessible. By bringing collections to the museum from a remote location, the master plan ‘connects’ Ohio’s treasures and makes them core to the visitor experience. Locating the new entrance at the knuckle of the exhibit building and collection addition, visitors link the wealth and diversity of cultural heritage that informs the adjacent didactic exhibits.
