Following a master plan created by the team, the expansion of the art museum turned the entrance to face a new cultural spine on campus giving the museum much greater presence. This included a new lobby, two new galleries and object study center and a much more clear visitor flow.
Small moves, even if only 6,000 SF addition, can impact awareness, generate outsized opportunities, and impact the capacity of a museum on a University campus.
“Walt consulted with us and helped guide the architects through the unique considerations that exist when working with museums. His involvement allowed the entire project to run smoother and improved the outcomes based on our goals.”
